Campbells to hold conference analysing distressed and failed funds in Cayman and US

Offshore law firm, Campbells, will be hosting its annual conference with updates on the Cayman Islands fund industry.

The annual Cayman Islands Fund Focus Conference 2016 will take place on Friday, December 2, and will be attended by Cayman Islands and US experts in the field.

The event will be presented by partner and chairman of Campbells, Alistair Walters.

Guy Manning, partner and head of litigation at Campbells in Cayman Islands, will also be attending as a moderator for the 2:30pm session ‘litigation and insolvency update’.

Hamid Khanbhai, senior associate at Campbells and Geoff Varga, managing director at Duff & Phelps, will also be attending the session to analyse the key judgements over the last year affecting distressed and failed funds and their investors.

There will be a Cayman Islands industry update by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority deputy managing director and general counsel, Langston Sibblies.
