Danesmead hires former Soros CFO

Danesmead Partners, a Cayman-based alternative fund governance specialist, has appointed Tracie Ahern as a director and principal of the firm.

Based in New York, Ahern will serve as an independent director on alternative investment vehicles.

Ahern has 26 years of experience in the investment management industry, having served as the chief financial officer of Soros Fund Management.

While at Soros, she had responsibility for the treasury function, trade operations and firm wide budgeting and financial analysis, including all corporate and investment company financials.
