Mourant Governance Services appoints new head of corporate

Mourant Governance Services has appointed Andrew Millar as its new head of corporate services in the Cayman Islands.

MourantGS provides fiduciary, administration, accounting and governance services in Cayman, Guernsey, Hong Kong and Jersey. In Cayman, the service offering has recently expanded to include outsourced AML functions, client accounting as well as FATCA and CRS services.

“Andrew is a key addition to our global governance team,” said Mourant’s Cayman Islands Managing Partner, Peter Hayden. “He brings a wealth of experience across a number of industry sectors and significantly enhances our Cayman asset finance and structured finance capabilities. Andrew will play an important role in broadening the range of our Cayman governance services and in ensuring that we continue to deliver seamless legal and governance services to our clients.”

Millar joined the firm after working as the regional head of Fiduciary Services for a large service provider in the Middle East. His previous experience also includes working for Sunbelt in Australia, Fortis Prime Fund Solutions (Cayman) Limited as well as KPMG and HBOS in the UK.
