FBI and Homeland Security representatives to speak at OFA 2016

Representatives from the FBI and Department of Homeland Security are among the speaker line-up at this year’s Operations for Alternatives (OFA) event.

David Chaves, a special agent with the FBI, and John Tobon, assistant special agent in charge, financial investigations division, Homeland Security investigations, will both be giving talks at the event, which is designed for those in the hedge funds and private equity industries.

The two-day event will run from 1-2 February, 2016, at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach in Florida.

There will also representatives from various other firms in the industries, including: James Koutoulas, chief executive officer, Typhon Capital Management; Joshua Barlow, head of accounting and operational due diligence, PAAMCO; David Bradley, chief operating officer (COO) and chief commercial officer, Hawk Ridge Partners, Vanessa Van Brunt, US head of alternative, liquidity sales, BlackRock; Paul Roth, partner, Schulte Roth & Zabel; and Mahsa Zeinali, COO, Rosen Capital Advisors.

OFA 2016 will features a market overview of the hedge funds and private equity industry, as well as provide a platform to discuss operational due diligence, regulatory and compliance challenges and emerging trends.
