DMS hires former Cambridge Associates exec

Fund governance firm DMS Offshore Investment Services (DMS), has appointed Charles Cassidy as a director.

Cassidy will serve as an independent director and consultant on the boards of investment funds and related structures. He will also provide thought leadership to institutional investors and consultants through DMS roundtables and seminars, industry conferences, articles and proprietary research.

Cassidy previously served as managing director of the business risk management team at Cambridge Associates.

He has held several leadership roles in the institutional financial services industry in the US and globally.

At Cambridge, he built a global team of legal, accounting and risk professionals based in the US, Europe and Asia. In 2007 and 2008 he participated in and co-authored the report issued by the President’s Working Group on Financial Markets chaired by Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson.
