BPM launches Cayman Islands office

California-based accounting and consulting firm Burr Pilger Mayer (BPM) has launched an office in the Cayman Islands.

A range of issues will be handled by the firm, including annual audits of financial statement, structuring and tax planning, US tax reporting and compliance for funds and investors and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and Securities and Exchange Commission regulation and compliance. 

Brian Finnegan, leader of the firm’s assurance practice and financial services industry group, said: “The Cayman Islands is the world leader as a domicile for hedge fund managers, institutional sponsors, financial service firms and private equity investors.”
