Actress and author Jamie Lee Curtis has been named as one of the speakers at this year’s Cayman Alternate Investment Summit event (CAIS).

The event brings together leading thinkers and practitioners from different segments of the global alternatives industry to explore the challenges and opportunities their industry faces and design responses that will take it to its next level of success, according to Professor Amin Rajan, Create Research and Anthony Cowell, head of alternative investments, KPMG in the Cayman Islands, who are both on the event’s editorial committee.

CAIS, which is in its third year, is being held from 4-5 February, 2016, at The Ritz Carlton, Grand Cayman.

As well as a celebrity line-up including Curtis and ‘Suits’ actress Meghan Markle, it will also see a number of industry speakers, including Andrew Bastow, vice president and head of European structuring and regulatory affairs, AQR Capital Management; Anric Blatt, founder and chairman, Global Fund Exchange Group; Tom Brown, global head of investment management, KPMG; and Garth Ebanks, deputy head of investments and securities division; Cayman Islands Monetary Authority.

The keynote speaker for the event has yet to be revealed.

Registration for CAIS 2016 is open now.
