PwC boosts tax practice with two hires from KPMG

As part of a strategy to expand its tax services team, PwC Cayman has announced the addition of two senior hires to its growing tax practice with team members located in the Cayman Islands and Bermuda.

TC Leshikar and Elizabeth Smeltzer have joined the tax team as a partner and a director, respectively. Both specialise in the US tax issues of our Financial Services clients. Both join from KPMG.

Leshikar has spent the last eight years in the Cayman Islands providing US Tax planning and compliance services to hedge funds, private equity funds and captive insurance companies. He also previously worked at another big four firm in Bermuda.

Smeltzer also previously worked in the Cayman Islands primarily focused on providing US tax consulting and compliance services to private equity funds, captive insurance companies and insurance linked securities (ILS) structures. Previously she worked at another big four Firm in Nashville.
