JTC, which has a substantia presence in Cayman, has made a Group-wide donation of £100,000 to support charities in their international efforts to combat the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The donation will be split between three charities which were selected by employees from across JTC’s global network of offices.

The charities to benefit are: The World Health Organisation, Medecins Sans Frontieres and Comic Relief.

Nigel Le Quesne, Chief Executive Officer of JTC, said: “As we are all acutely aware, the ongoing effects of Covid-19 continue to be felt in every corner of society around the world and it is absolutely right that we make our own contribution to the international charities which have specific programmes concentrating on the response to the pandemic. As a global business, we want to offer our financial support to a number of international charities that will make a significant impact.

“In keeping with our shared ownership culture, it was important to engage everyone across our business so they had a say in where our donations should be made. It was also heartening to receive a number of direct personal donations in support of our #STRONGERTOGETHER focus.

“I’m enormously proud of the spirit of our people, who clearly feel so passionately about these charities.”
