Experts represent Cayman at Global Fund Finance Symposium

A host of Cayman-based experts represented the region by speaking at the 6th Annual Global Finance Symposium.

Among the line-up were: Tony Heaver-Wren, a partner in the dispute resolution team of Cayman-based offshore law firm Appleby; Rob Jackson, a partner in Walkers’ Global Finance and Corporate Group; Rolf Lindsay, another partner at Walkers’ Global Investment Funds Group; Tina Meigh, a partner at Maples and Calder in the Cayman Islands; Henry Smith, a partner at Maples and Calder in the Cayman Islands; Matt Taber, a partner in Harneys’ Cayman office; and Anna-Lise Wisdom,  a partner in the Appleby’s corporate department in Cayman.

The keynote speech for the event was delivered by Rich Friedman, head of the merchant banking division at investment banking firm Goldman Sachs.

Discussed at the event were topics including subscription facilities, cash management, and global jurisdiction legal document developments in fund structures (non-US).
