Law firm Walkers will hold its annual hedge fund seminar in November. 'Everything Offshore 2014' will hold events in New York and San Francisco.
This year the seminar programme will cover new rules for Cayman funds, the latest developments in fund governance, trends in financing for investment funds and what to expect in 2014. In addition, at the New York event there will be a presentation by television journalist, Ali Velshi, host of Real Money and former CNN Chief Business Correspondent.
Launched in 2008, Walkers has hosted its annual 'Walkers Fundamentals' hedge fund seminar in New York for the past five years. It attracts investment fund managers and their professional advisers from US and offshore domiciles such as the Cayman Islands.
This year, it will take place on Tuesday November 5 at the Harvard Club of New York City from 4:30pm to 6pm, with registration beginning at 4pm and again on Tuesday November 12 at the Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco, from 3pm to 4:15pm, with registration beginning at 2:30pm.Admission is free but by invitation only.
