Athena International Management, an independent directorship services provider in the Cayman Islands, has expanded its corporate governance team for the second time in the last six months.
Bill Fleury, a financial services expert with more than 25 years of financial services experience providing audit, administration, compliance and other operational services to the alternative investment fund and captive insurance industries, has joined Athena’s independent directors team in the Cayman Islands.
Managing director Allison Nolan said: “Bill is highly experienced and client-service oriented. Fleury has worked in senior roles with PWC in both Toronto and the Cayman Islands, Fidelity Investments (Canada), UBS and Butterfield Fund Services. Most recently, he was the general manager and COO of the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce Pension Plan, one of the jurisdiction’s largest multi-employer pension providers.
