26-06-2014

Law firm Appleby has appointed Benjamin Woolf to partner in its Cayman office.

Woolf is a member of the corporate & commercial practice group and specialises in structured finance and corporate transactions. He also works on mergers & acquisitions, asset finance and subscription finance.

Prior to joining Appleby, Woolf practised at Clifford Chance and Mayer Brown where he worked primarily on securitisation and other asset-backed financings.
Managing partner of the Cayman office, Bryan Hunter, notes that since Benjamin joined the firm in 2011 he has steadily climbed the ranks.

“Benjamin is an exemplary lawyer and his recent promotion to partner is in recognition of not only his hard work, skill and expertise but also the impressive growth of Appleby’s corporate and finance team,” he said.
